The world champion 'Tulips' Dutch korfball team left on their second recent
promotional trip to East Asia on Sunday 20 March, directly after the Dutch
national finals.
 The tour, a joint initiative of the IKF and the Netherlands national korfball body KNKV, aims to foster promotion and development in an increasingly important part of the korfball world.
The programme includes a number of friendly matches against teams from
Chinese Taipei and mainland China, as well as a series of university-based
clinics led by international korfball luminary Ben Crum and Jan Sjouke van
den Bos, who was
re-appointed as Dutch national coach last week.
After starting their tour in Chinese Taipei, the party will arrive in
mainland China on Monday 4 April before returning to the Netherlands on
Monday 11 April.
