As part of the efforts to help korfball development in Macau China, the HKCKA invited the team to local competitions in Spring 2005.
The Macau Chinese joined local Hong Kong teams in the Chinese Lunar New Year One-zone Korfball tournament in February and the March Beach Korfball Competition, which was held on the beach at Hong Kong’s famous Repulse Bay. The increased competition experience has seen the Macau China team make excellent progress and they took home the bronze medals from the beach tournament. They have also impressed the Hong Kong korfball community with their energy, confidence, enthusiasm and commitment to follow the lead of Hong Kong in korfball development.
