On 1 April 2005, The Netherlands Team conducted a Korfball workshop for the local high school korfball players at Kwun Chung Indoor Sports Hall.
Their high standards of performance set an excellent example for the local players who also benefited a lot from their instructions as well as from playing with them.
On 2 April 2005, the Dutch team together with teams from Chinese Taipei, Macau China and the hosts, Hong Kong participated in the 2005 President Cup Korfball Invitation Tournament held at Kowloon Park Sports Center. The event attracted more than 200 spectators and received extensive media coverage including interviews by 3 television stations and 4 newspapers. The high level of Korfball playing standard demonstrated by the teams impressed the local communities.

Champion: Netherlands
1st Runner-up: Chinese Taipei
2nd Runner-up: Hong Kong China
